The team

Human potential is one of the chief assets of StatConsulting. At present we have a team of over 50 people, including tens of consultants with the skills necessary to perform analytical and IT-oriented tasks.

Our consultants possess expert knowledge in statistics, econometrics and artificial intelligence. They have many years of experience in data processing, customer behavior modeling and risk management, acquired in the course of work on over 100 commercial projects.

StatConsulting also has a team of programmers developing in-house software, including systems for analyzing and exploring data and Data Mining, risk management systems and dedicated applications.

Due to its constant development and increasing demand for consulting services in the area of data analysis and modeling, as well as analytical IT solutions, our company is regularly recruiting new analysts and programmers.

On a regular basis StatConsulting is conducting training courses for its new and old employees, taking care in the constant improvement of their qualifications.

 

Competence

  • Knowledge of Data Mining methods based on artificial intelligence and statistics (hundreds of analytical models constructed).
  • Knowledge of the Basel II and Solvency II regulatory requirements.
  • Many years of experience and knowledge acquired in the course of tens of analytical projects in the areas of risk evaluation and customer behavior modeling. The projects involved the construction, validation and monitoring of various models (such as analytical CRM, scoring). The scoring models constructed by us were based on applicational as well as behavioral data, covering small and medium enterprises as well as individual customers.
  • Rich experience in the processing and preparation of large data volumes for further analysis. Such projects involved data auditing, data cleaning, construction of analytical repositories, development of Data Marts, carrying out of ETL processes and integration with external data sources.
  • Experience and knowledge in designing and implementing analytical tools and carrying out deployment and analysis projects involving scoring systems, risk management systems and analytical tools.
  • Knowledge of numerous analytical tools and technologies, such as AdvancedMiner Professional, SAS, Teradata, R, Siebel, Java, J2EE, Python and others.
  • Experience in the teaching of specialized knowledge and business use of Data Mining, which comes from conducting tens of training courses devoted to Data Mining methodology, segmentation, Churn analyses, Credit Scoring or Fraud Detection.
