We gladly announce that on 17th March 2010 StatConsulting organized RISK FORUM. It was the 3rd edition of the event since 2007.
During the Forum we raised issues concerning evaluation of companies creditworthiness, risk management as well as companies bankruptcy prediction. For the first time, after the plenary session the conference was divided into two parallel sessions – one dedicated to the banking sector and the other to the insurance sector.
Presentations were prepared and delivered during Risk Forum III by managers responsible for risk management in finance institutions. Presentations were based on the actual aspects concerning risk.
The number of participants of the conference amounted to more than 170.

2009
Scoring vs. rating was the leading theme of Credit Scoring Forum II, which took place on February 2nd 2009 in Warsaw.
During the event scoring and rating were presented as methods of evaluating credit risk, differences and similarities between the two methods were shown, and the connections between the methods and their common elements were discussed. Of special interest was the comparison of statistical and fundamental methods of estimating company value presented by Moody’s. Much interest was generated by a presentation delivered by one of StatConsulting’s experts on the ranking of companies according to the probability of them going bankrupt. The ranking was created on the basis of companies registered in the National Court Register.
Presentations were also delivered by representatives of Info Veriti Polska Sp. z o.o., Deutsche Bank PBC S.A. and Ernst&Young.

2007
The first edition of Risk Forum, entitled Credit Scoring Forum, took place in Warsaw on December 18, 2007.
During the event experts presented their experiences and opinions concerning practical applications of credit risk evaluation as well as world trends in this field: recent tendencies in credit scoring, predictions of changes in the application of scoring methods and the use of scoring methods for advanced management of credit risk.
